After painting this full access toilet in wonderful yellow ochre and turquoise blue colours the team at Arkwright Meadows have nicknamed it the beach hut toilet!

Dogmersfield Church, Hampshire

A fully accessible toilet for a church without water or sewage. The naturally durable cladding timber sourced in Mid Wales will mellow down to grey in the first year or two.

Sandown allotments at Nairn were the subject of an episode of BBC Scotland's Beechgrove Gardens series and the installation of this wheelchair accessible composting toilet was filmed for the programme.

Toilet for Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust site in Welshpool

A wheelchair accessible cubicle and compost toilet used by school groups at a Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust site in Welshpool. The building is metal clad in slate grey corrugated sheeting and the ventilation system is passive.

Allotment Toilet in Kirklees, Huddersfield.

When Kirklees Borough Council decided to upgrade their allotment site with a new polytunnel they also chose a NatSol composting toilet. The building is clad with Western Red Cedar sourced in Wales.

Allotment Toilet in Friern Barnet, London.

Allotment holders finish off the installation of a COMPUS TWIN Standard toilet. A Full Access toilet was installed on another site just around the corner.

Forestry Commission toilet at Salen, Acharacle, Scotland.

The building was designed by Chris Morgan of Locate Architects and uses a standard NatSol base unit to form the foundations and floor.

The project is shown nearing completion. NatSol supplied vaults and other components.

Pitshanger Allotments, London.

The vaults and soakaway for a COMPUS TWIN Full Access toilet installed by allotment holders. The soakaway was made large enough to take rainwater from the roof of the building in addition to the urine from the toilet.

Allotment Toilet at Colchester Avenue in Cardiff.

Cardiff City Council chose a NatSol composting toilet for their 120 plot allotment site at Colchester Avenue. It is a vandal resistant metal clad building with a passive ventilation system.

Engineer's toilet for National Grid Wireless, Waltham

Prior to making this installation engineers had to go off-site to find toilet facilities. We fit alcohol based gel hand cleansing dispensers as standard and so no water supply is required to our toilet facilties. This particular installation has fan driven ventilation.

This toilet was squeezed into an unused corner of an organic garden.

Three toilets for St Anne's Allotments, Nottingham.

These flat packed timber buildings are shown being checked for assembly prior to dispatched to Groundwork, Nottingham for installation. The cladding is Douglas Fir sourced in Wales. St Anne's Allotments are the oldest inner city allotments in the world and some of the original allotment sheds are listed buildings.

The Centre for Alternative Technology

A COMPUS TWIN bench seat in the Autonomous Environmental Information Centre [ATEIC] at the Centre. This is a urine separating twin vault toilet.

Garden pavilion, Llanidloes

A bespoke design by Andrew Warren which includes storage shed and toilet which is an above gound COMPUS TWIN with urine separation. The masonry toilet vaults are accessed through vertical hatches.


The bench seat inside the building. Interchangeable lids switching between vaults on an annual basis.

A non urine separating, single vault toilet at Withy Cottage. This is a low energy self built house belonging to Nick Grant, one of the directors of NatSol Ltd.

Allotment site in Ealing, London

An above ground COMPUS TWIN toilet on an allotment site. This picture was taken during construction and before the addition of a ramp to facilitate wheelchair access. Our wheelchair accessible cubicles are now built with underground vaults to avoid the need for ramps.
